affordable dentistry guide
Learn how you can lower your dental expenses, get the most out of your dental benefits, and access the care you need.
We believe everyone has the right to dental care. We give you the best dentistry — and make it affordable and reasonable.
Following the Alberta fee guide
We 100% follow the Alberta Dental Fee Guide. To help you maintain your family's dedication to great oral health, we include many extra services — like sedation dentistry — at no cost.
Lower your dental expenses
If you want to lower your dental expenses, then make sure you have regular dental exams and a thorough dental hygiene visit every 3-6 months.
We are strong advocates of preventative care. Brushing, flossing, and regular dental visits are all needed to maintain your oral health and defend against gum disease.
If you brush and floss but avoid regular visits, small problems become big problems — requiring painful and expensive procedures to fix. Regular dental visits prevent issues and allow us to catch problems when they are still easy to fix.
Understand your dental insurance
Have you ever thought about what your dental insurance benefits are worth?
Even the most basic employee benefits and dental insurance plans cover hundreds of dollars in dental expenses for each family member, every year.
Find out exactly how much your benefits are worth with a free assessment. We do the work!
If you don’t use your benefits, they go to waste. How much is lost? Let’s do the math:
In Alberta, a regular dental cleaning visit typically costs between $200 and $350. A comprehensive dental exam (including x-rays) typically costs $150.
If your benefits cover 100% of those costs, one hygiene visit every six months and an exam every year is worth $550 to $850 per person, per year.
Even if your insurer only pays 80% and you need to pay the remaining 20% (also known as a “co-pay”), you’re receiving around $200 in benefits for each visit. That’s $1600 per year for a family of four. It adds up!
Get the most out of your dental benefits
You’ll probably agree that getting the most out of your dental benefits is a good idea. Protecting your health is important, and so is taking advantage of what you’ve earned.
We believe in open and transparent communication about insurance coverage and costs. If you share the information with us, we’ll consider your dental benefits along with your oral health needs to create an optimized dental treatment plan.
For example, we can set your regular appointment frequency based on your dental hygiene needs and ideal costs. We’ll even remind you when benefits are about to expire.
If you need major treatments, we can prioritize them so urgent items get done first, and let you know when more benefits are available. We’ll be honest about what can wait (and what can’t).
Apply for a flexible dental payment plan
If you don’t have dental insurance or your insurer won’t pay for the total cost of treatment, you can still get your smile back and stop living in pain.
We offer flexible payment plans that cover 100% of your dental care.
